She may not know anything about losing Rachelle Lefevre as a Twilight castmate, but Nikki Reed has a pretty good idea why fans swoon for costar Robert Pattinson.
With news still fresh on Lefevre being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse, the third film of the popular series, Reed, who plays vampire Rosalie Hale, tells PEOPLE she hasn't "talked to [Lefevere] yet." "I don't know anything about it other than a schedule conflict," said Reed at the Express TXT L8TR Campaign party at Nobu in West Hollywood Wednesday night – the same day the news broke of the switch.
Summit Entertainment defended the decision Thursday to use Howard as the villainous vampire Victoria due to Lefevre's commitment to the Dustin Hoffman film Barney's Version, which is slated to film at the same time as Eclipse.
But one thing is for sure: No one will be replacing Pattinson as Edward Cullen, as fans are absolutely dedicated to the actor. Why does Reed think he's got such a following? "Rob is sort of feminine looking and I think young girls like boys that look like women," she said.
New Moon, the second film in the four part series, premieres Nov. 20.

Okay Nikki Reed aka Rosalie was never one of my favorite characters in Twilight or favorite actresses for that matter. I totally do NOT agree with her. Robert does not look feminine! When he was younger, maybe but definitely not now.
If you dressed him up as a girl even with no makeup he would look ridiculous! Rob has a boyish quality though. He has a big nose, slightly crooked but his features are definitely masculine. The only thing that I would say is he is a very 'pretty' man. However that does not mean he looks feminine.
Jon Bon Jovi is a 'pretty' man as well, and was especially at the height of his career in the 80's. So is, or was George Michael, Johnny Depp and others. But I wouldn't go so far to say that they look like girls! I would call them slightly effeminate.
Cuz I'm here to tell you that I am NOT attracted to men that DO look like girls. But I AM attracted to men that retain their boyish qualities and I think a lot of women are. And I would go so far as to say many men are attractive to women that are kind of child woman like as well.
But who are some well known men that do look effeminate? Hmm..
All the members of the hair band Poison when they were in their prime especially Brett Michaels. In fact Brett Michaels STILL looks effeminate. And Michael Jackson BEFORE he undertook all his plastic surgery and even more so afterwards.
That's all I can think of at the moment...
